Welcome to Kosciusko Alpine Club (KAC)
We have been part of the skiing community for almost 100 years. Starting with a small group in 1909, we now have 2,300 members, with some families spanning four generations. Our participation in ski racing began in 1910 at the Hotel Kosciusko and continues today with our annual Club Championships, competition with other clubs, and The KAC Cross Country Race. We are proud of our pioneering and continuing role as a leader in Alpine and Nordic skiing in Australia.
We own and operate three lodges in the NSW Snowy Mountains (at Charlotte Pass, Perisher and Thredbo). Our registered office is in Chatswood, Sydney. To keep members updated with Club activities, booking deadlines, lodge vacancies and stories of the skiing community, we distribute the KAC Bulletin several times a year, as well as email newsletters.
.
No matter whether you wish to enjoy the snow, the delights of bush-walking and fishing, or simply want to get away to the splendours of the mountains, the Club is there for members’ enjoyment.
