THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MOVES TO THREDBO
 The KAC Club Championship will be held in Thredbo this year on Thursday 7th August and Friday 8th August
Southern Alps Ski Club and KAC will run their Championships in tandem.
All KAC Club Championship categories will be held (except the Jump).
Race Week at Charlotte Pass has been cancelled as has the Perisher August Championships.
The Charlotte Pass Open will still be held but is now to be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, 15th August, 2008
Accommodation will be at a premium at KAC Thredbo and therefore there is a need to set a few new ground rules.
- Only financial KAC members will be entitled to apply for accommodation i.e. NO non members.
- Any Children under 12 will not be offered accommodation.
- Children 12 and over who are junior members of the club will be entitled to apply for accommodation but must enter the races.
- Preference will be given to those seeking the most number of nights within the week.
- When confirmation of the booking is received the member must pay the full amount within three weeks.
- Given this is Peak period, accommodation will be charged at Peak rate.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellation of a night.
- The Entry Fee for the races will be $10 per race or a maximum of $40 (7 events).
- A waiver form to be signed by all participants.
- An account for Entry Fees will accompany the confirmation of accommodation.
- A joint evening party will be held at KAC Thredbo on Thursday night 7th August.
- On the final Friday night a combined presentation night will be held in the Kosciuszko Room.
- Should there be an excess of requests for accommodation by the cut-off date, then the accommodation will be balloted.
